InfoBytes: URL shorteners In-Person
Sharing a link like the one for Thigpen Library, www.volstate.edu/library, is easy. However, we encounter links that are not as easy to share, especially in a presentation or written format. Inserting links into some programs can be problematic. For example, proxied links for articles from library databases can become a mangled link to nowhere.
